The smallest of these Fire King bowls I found at a Salvation Army upstate. The others I later bought on Ebay, though not all at once. Instead, they too I found only as onsies, single items that are less expensive than a set but require a bit more patience to collect.

What a pay off! I love their teardrop shape, a Swedish design from the 40s. And now that I’ve completed the set, I use them all the time, especially for baking and cooking. Remember, though, Fire King is glass and will scratch with the use of metal utensils. Instead, opt for a beautiful old wooden spoon like this one. They’re at just about every flea market out there and make a wonderful pairing with Fire King blue.
