'Tis the season to be busy! Now that I've left Martha Stewart Living to work on building a little something of my own, I'm super excited to be able to share all my ideas for decorating and entertaining for the holidays. I know the posts aren't coming as often as they have, but rest assured, everyone! Lots of good stuff is on the way! This past weekend, Jaithan and I, along with three of our favorite girlfriends, Austin, Ronny and Jordan, were up in Greenwich decorating a gorgeous house of my longtime client and friend Susan. For the full post, including lots of great before and after shots, come back tonight!

Eddie,
Love the exterior of the house!!! Good luck in your new venture. I have to stay where I am for another 14 months and then I will be eligble for an early retirement with 66% of my salary and annual cost of living raises. Then I plan to embark on a more creative endeavor.
I’m so excited to see what you have in store! Congrats and good luck on your new venture! You inspire me to look for the unexpected and fit it into my own home! Thanks!
Eddie you have such a unique gift in all areas of design. I think it’s time for a coffee table book. I will be first in line to purchase one.
Thanks for making the design world a much better place.
Aw you always look so cute!
xo xo
Congratulations, Eddie! I can’t wait to hear more about your new endeavor and wish you all the best.
oh to have a house that pretty decked out with REAL wreaths and garland … can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to!
(and can’t wait to meet you in Atlanta on the 10th! I’m registered with a co-worker, Kim T.)
Congrats Mr. Ross! I knew it was only a matter of time before you started your own Media Empire! I will be checking in regularly for inspiration. Now I gotta get out and deck my halls!
Good luck Eddie, you deserve the best. I can hardly wait to see the rest of the house. Good grief I can’t imagine owning a house like that or even visiting!!
That is my dream house. I love the tasteful greenery with white bows!!
Only you could look so fashion forward while decking the halls!
Congratulations on the new adventures, if you ever write a book, I’m buying it!
Can’t wait to see all the decor ideas!!
how pretty! can’t wait to see the rest
Hi Eddie,
Can I send you a vintage linen so you can autograph it for me??? I KNOW you will be the next star!! Anything you touch is pure GOLD!!!!
Congrats on your new venture! And of course I’ll be back for more this evening… can’t wait to see what you’ve whipped up!
Careful Eddie. You are not supposed to stand on the top rung of a ladder.
Can’t wait to see the house fully decorated. ♥Rosemary
Looks like fun, don’t fall of the ladders! Suppose to snow 4-5 inches here in Mississippi, had torando last night and now snow! Which is very rare for us southerners. No logs yet.
Oh, Eddie. You’ll be missed at MSL for certain but I am proud of you! You’ll be marvelous!
Wow – Way to go on the career change- Now go continue to give Martha a run for her money- Can’t wait to see this house finished-
Beautiful!
Oh and congrats on the life change! I think the timing is perfect.
Best,
Wendy
Eddie; Love the exterior and love your work. I think the interior garlands are too large and out of scale with this house. When you have to duck your head to get by you know you have gone too big. I know its a great deal of work to do all this and the photos are awesome as well. Cheers
You’ve been added to my favorites!
Great place for inspiration.
Thanks so much.
Hi Eddie, Your work is extraordinary. I can spend hours looking at all the details in your designs. I live in an old farmhouse and now that the renovation is completed, I’m having a hard time putting together the finishing touches. Tablescapes and mantlescapes are my biggest weakness! This results in a very minimalistic ‘look’!!! ; ) Love reading each and every one of your posts! xoTrina
