In keeping with today's post on getting organized for the new year, especially in preparation for all those projects around the house, check out my stylish friend Seleta's blog! She just did such a sweet post on me, all about getting organized! Thank you, Seleta!
I just finished reading this wonderful interview and am thrilled to see your remark that one of your goals for this year is “To do a book on sophisticated flea market style.” I am so excited. Reserve my copy today!
Oh I love Seleta! Her sense of style and her sense of humor are priceless. Love that you did an organizational interview with her!
What a wonderful interview. Love Seleta’s pledge for 2009 to simplify! I could do more of that in my life as well. I’m already a loyal blog follower of hers but now will also add yours to my list!
Seleta has been my best friend for years and is as wonderful in person as she appears on the blog. I refer to her blog for design ideas all the time. It’s so nice to see her getting this much deserved recognition. I will now bookmark your blog too!

Oh Eddie, I just found you–yeah for me (I think I have been watching too much Zach and Cody with my children). I love these aqua chairs and all of it. I want to go fleaing with you, unfortunately we don’t have any in Montana.
Oooooh! Isn’t Seleta a peach? What a fun interview with you and what a cutie pie you are! Love the vest, the bowtie, the hair…everything. Come see us at the beach sometime!
I saw your interview on Seleta’s site earlier today, but I wanted to come by and tell you how much I enjoyed it. Getting organized is such a worthwhile process. I love the possibilities that 2009 has to offer…..especially the one of a sophisticated flea market style book!
Seleta is the ultimate diva of style and her blog rocks. So glad to know about your blog, too. I am so loving the RL Sunwashed Blue and NEED it in my home somewhere. Off to read more of your posts!

Ok, so now, you HAVE to come here to NC, for the Antiques Market, for your book? huh? huh?
I will keep a look out for the visit announcement:)
I second Bridgett’s comment…see you at the book signing. 🙂
Great interview…I loved seeing so many of your beautiful photos together in Seleta’s post.
Just want you to know that you have a new fan!!! I am a regular to Seleta’s blog and I am soooo happy that she has introduced me to you. Seleta has been my dear friend for 25 years and she taught me the “class” of flea marketing decades ago. Nice to see that you have that in common. Seleta is a natural!!! Her talent is unlimited. I am looking forward to learning new ideas from you! Besos!!

Eddie:
First of all, Seleta & I have been friends for over 10 years and she basically decorated my entire house and lake house (sight unseen..how amazing is that!). Folks come in my house and LOVE all she has done. It is timeless yet comfy. Second of all, I am an organizing FREAK! I too love The Container Store. My recent coolest “organizing” stunt was to put a cute red chest with drawers (which Seleta helped me purchase years ago) in my laundry room and use each drawer for each person in the house (for their stuff…whether school or work related). I used The Container Store sock and undergarment plastic organizers for pens, paper, and other misc items. It is both decorative and functional. So glad I was introduced to your site by Seleta. Her site is a blast as well! She always amazes me with her talent!

So glad that you have introduced your readers to Simply Seleta! She is just as real and funny in person as she is on her blog. She has helped me on several occasions with color and decor in my homes. She is very talented and has helped to turn my home into a warm and welcoming retreat. One of the things I really love about Seleta is that she is also a Discount Decorating Diva and can work with people on a budget.
